On an artistic level, the history actress Austriadine embodies a unique and fascinating monarchical personality of Austrian history in the zeitgeist of the Rococo, the late Baroque in the 18th century:

The born and reigning Archduchess, Queen and named Empress

Maria Theresia

Walburga Amalia Christine

of the House of Habsburg (as of 1736 Habsburg-Lorraine)

(13 May anno 1717 to 29 November anno 1780)

The historical representation by Austriadine serves to promote and preserve a formative national and cultural history. Developed buildings, parks, facilities, institutions and projects, music and art, customs and traditions, in other words, all that can be traced back to the Maria Theresian era in Austria, is supported in a non-profit way.

The history actress Austriadine contributes to the cultivation of culture through her authentic staging, illustrates history, brings it to life and thereby promotes an understanding of history for the 18th century.

History Actress

Austriadine aims:

Austriadine`s portrayal as Maria Theresa, the first female regent to head the multi-ethnic Habsburg dynasty, is based on many years of very intensive research of historical sources. The impressive national and cultural history of 18th century Austria thus also brought about an interpretation (of her own) as an artist of the splendid and detailed dress fashions in the spirit of Maria Theresa's time, as she herself wore them and which were also immortalised in paintings. This elaborate wardrobe, which has been tailor-made over the years, and the accompanying props in the style of the 18th century are thus designed and made to a high standard by Austriadine herself.

Austriadine is a history actress and an artist who portrays the Rococo period as Archduchess, Queen and named Empress Maria Theresa of Habsburg-Lorraine in Austria and her reign from anno 1740 to anno 1780.

Austriadine stages the Maria Theresian era and the aristocratic Rococo lifestyle that emerged during the reign of Maria Theresa.

Austriadine`s Plaisir refers to historical settings and events of the 18th century at home and abroad.

This includes performances and tributes with the associated representation of the Rococo spirit of the time and, above all, the personality of Maria Theresa. Furthermore, events, parades and balls as well as strolling amusements in a suitable atmosphere are associated with it.

One of the few paintings in which Maria Theresa actually sat in portrait and from which her actual appearance can be deduced.
